Radiant Women Movement supports women and girls in Huddersfield and surrounding areas who are facing domestic violence, financial hardship, social isolation, or other difficult life situations.
We provide a safe and welcoming space where women can be listened to, supported, encouraged, and signposted to the right services. Our work focuses on confidence, safety, practical guidance, and community connection.

Safe Support and Guidance
Our approach
We listen with care
We respect confidentiality
We support women at their own pace
We help women understand their options
We signpost to trusted services where needed
Important note: If you are in immediate danger, call 999. For non-emergency police support, call 101.
We understand that many women face difficult situations in silence. Radiant Women Movement offers a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space where women can talk, ask questions, and receive guidance.
Our support is suitable for women affected by domestic abuse, emotional harm, family pressure, financial stress, or social disadvantage. We do not judge. We listen, support, and help women understand the options available to them.
Where specialist help is needed, we signpost women to appropriate services, including domestic abuse support, housing advice, safeguarding services, legal support, counselling, and emergency assistance.

Practical Support and Signposting
Helping women find the right next step
Many women need practical help but do not always know where to start. Radiant Women Movement helps women and girls understand what support may be available and where they can go for further help.
This may include signposting for financial hardship, food support, housing concerns, childcare-related challenges, benefit advice, emotional wellbeing support, and community services.
We also support single mothers and young mothers who may be dealing with pressure, isolation, or limited access to information. Our role is to walk alongside women, not speak over them.
We can help with signposting around

Food and essential support
Housing and safety concerns
